Hon. Moses K. Kuria, HSC, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management.
Hon. Moses Kuria is the Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management.
He was appointed to the position following the reorganisation of national government in October 2023.
Prior to that, on 27th September 2022, he had been appointed as Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry in the new government of H.E. President Dr. William Ruto.
Hon. Kuria has had an illustrious political career. His political journey started when he joined Former President Mwai Kibaki's team through Former President Uhuru Kenyatta's Kanu Party.
Following the death of the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South, Hon. Jossy Ngugi in 2014, Hon. Kuria was elected unopposed as the new MP on a TNA party ticket. He was re-elected as an MP during the 2017 General Elections to serve for a 5-year parliamentary term, running until 2022 on Jubilee Party. He was succeeded by Gabriel Kagombe in the 2022 General Election.
Hon. Kuria has also worked in the private sector in various capacities.
Mr. Amos N. Gathecha, EBS, NDC (K), Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service.
Mr. Amos Njoroge Gathecha, EBS, is the Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service in the Ministry of Public Service, Performance & Delivery Management.
Mr. Gathecha is a seasoned administrator with vast experience in Public Sector Management spanning over 33 years. Prior to his appointment as the Principal Secretary, he served as the Principal Administrative Secretary at the National Treasury. Mr. Gathecha was the Secretary, National Governments Projects Implementation where he served as the Secretary to the National Development Implementation and Communication Coordination Committee (NDICCC). He also served as the Head of Secretariat of the National Development Implementation and Technical Committee (NDITC) and, was the Liaison Officer between the Cabinet Office, Presidential Delivery Unit, NDICCC and NDITC.
In his illustrious career in the Public Service, Mr. Gathecha was also the Head of Secretariat, National Identity Information Management System (NIIMS) popularly known as Huduma Namba where he coordinated the registration of 37.7 million Kenyans for the Huduma Namba in 45 days in 2019.
Previously, Mr Gathecha also served as Secretary Internal Security where he managed issues pertaining to the National Security Advisory Committee (NSAC). His assignment also entailed, among other duties, monitoring and evaluating security in all the 47 counties.
Mr. Gathecha has worked as County Commissioner in Embu and Nakuru and prior to that, served as District Commissioner in West Pokot, Maragua, Bomet, Lugari and Marsabit.
One of his key achievements is chairing the Security Committees which prepared for international programmes. The Committees organized the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XVI) held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (July, 2016), the Tokyo International Conference on African Development Summit (August, 2016) and the Second-High Level meeting (HLM 2) of the Global Partnership for effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) 28th Nov – 1st Dec, 2016.

Mr Gethecha holds a Masters of Arts degree in International Studies from University of Nairobi and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the same university. He is also an alumnus of the National Defense College.
Ms. Veronica M. Nduva, Principal Secretary, State Department for Performance and Delivery Management
Ms. Veronica Nduva is the Principal Secretary State Department for Performance & Delivery Management- Ministry of Public Service, Performance & Delivery Management following the reorganization and reconstitution of Ministries/Departments by His Excellency the President. She was formerly the Principal Secretary State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action.
Ms Nduva is an accomplished governance expert and public sector professional with over two decades of career experience across a broad array of sectors including the Kenya Government, East African Community, Kenyan Civil Society and the United States Government.
She has written a number of publications on matters gender, current affairs and global issues highlighting her knowledge on global topical issues and a clear understanding of the public sector and operations, as well as inter-agency collaborations.
Ms. Nduva has also received a number of awards and recognition for exemplary work in Governance from both local and international institutions. Away from the office Mentorship, Governance training and being outdoors are her major interests.
Ms. Nduva holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nairobi.
